Altered Blame Opposition
In a genius ploy, the head coach of the Altered of Khaine claimed that the opposition, Canzaz Town Nobz are to blame for their horrific semi final bow out.
"I can only conclude that the Nobs were the reason for our loss. We did nothing the whole game and still lost. Whilst they did the same and scored in the dieing seconds of the second half.
"The fact that my team could neither dodge, nor catch the ball had nothing to do with the 1-0 loss. The team will not be seen in the dungeon, as they have some last minute raiding and slave trading to complete. But in 6 months time, the Altered shall be back to fail in the finals again."

Altered Unsurprised
With a stunning 2-0 victory over the lowly Chaos Dwarves known as Uzlak Scourges in the quarter final, the Altered of Khaine coach had this to say; " We had no doubt that we would win this match. We even pushed some dwarves around in the 1st half, just to give them a chance."

Altered Already In Finals
In a press conference this morning, Hammerteim has revealed that the Altered of Khaine are already in the finals; "We really don't need to play this game, given that the Stealers aren't going to be able to equal our TD difference if we were to lose. Which we wont."
"There is also the chance to ruin the Dodererez extremely impossible chances of reaching the finals. Although versing our first orc team this season could be a challenge. No the Camp Town Nancies don't count. They are simply Elves in really bad drag costumes."

The Head Coach of the Altered of Khaine, "Choker" Hammerteim, has expressed disbelief at the Skavens claim that his team is scared of them.
"To think that my Elves are terrified of a rat that walk on its hind legs is preposterous. This is no more an amazing feat than seeing a walking ape talk. And they play Blood Bowl all the time.
No, their coach must have had his couple of brain cells fried up at the latest training session if he thinks we're "scared"
Put simply, we like money. There I've said it. And after claiming the bounty on a certain Froggy Leapykins my players have asked me to hire some one that is more suited to the task of bounty taking.
After this farce of a game, we shall be taking on the Sad Town Slappers, where we also intend to stab, I mean claim the bounty, on a certain talking ape."
